Meet Dr Diana Lim. She is our travelling doctor with 3 years of aesthetic treatment experience, and you can usually find her in our branch clinic in the TTDI and Bangsar branches.

Dr. Diana Lim is our aesthetic physician specialising in laser procedures, such as laser procedures, skin diseases, skin lesions removal, chemical peels, botulinum toxin, and fillers.

She is also a medically qualified and highly trained specialist in body contouring, weight loss management, and regenerative medicine.

Hailing from Ipoh, the most gorgeous little state in Perak, she aims to combine her passion for beauty with medicine to bring out the gorgeousness of a patient’s outer beauty and be the best version of themselves. 

Dr. Diana Lim is known for being friendly, very attentive and welcoming in addressing her patients’ aesthetic needs and desires. They always enjoy seeing her for their regular maintenance treatments.

CREDENTIALS

Dr. Diana Lim obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Bristol, UK. She is also a registered member of the Membership of Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS England).

She has an impressive professional medical background and even received awards of excellence. She has spent a total of 6 years in her medical profession after she had completed her housemanship training in the UK.

During her medical training, she had been placed under rotation across different specialist divisions. They include surgical specialties, such as orthopaedics, vascular and breast surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and general surgery.

Upon completion of her training in the UK,  Dr. Diana Lim returned to Malaysia to serve her compulsory service in Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur (HKL) in general surgery and Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) in ophthalmology. In addition, Dr. Diana Lim was also attached to the plastic surgical team at McGill University, Montreal, Canada for 2 months during her elective training.

She then pursued her passion in aesthetics through a postgraduate course in Certification of Dermatology (AFPM Malaysia) and also in Aesthetic Medicine, Malaysia Aesthetic Certificate (MAC).

During her years in the UK, she keeps abreast with the latest technology and trends in aesthetic practice by attending various courses and conferences featuring internationally acclaimed plastic and aesthetic surgeons. 

Dr. Diana Lim has also trained junior doctors and medical interns, where she learned to prioritise patient safety, comfort, and pain management. – knowledge and practices which she later brought to Premier Clinic.

Since she joined Premier Clinic, Dr. Diana has undergone numerous aesthetic training to further hone her skills in treatments like Botulinum A injections, dermal fillers, etc.

Dr Diana Lim is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Royal College of Obstetricians & and Gynaecologists (MRCOG UK), Malaysian Universities Conjoint Committee of Ophthalmology.

PERSONAL INTEREST

When she is not in the clinic treating patients, Dr. Diana Lim spends her free time travelling. She always strives to have a good work-life balance. She believes that a doctor who is well-rested can offer the best service to patients.

For Dr. Diana Lim, travelling to different countries and exploring the different cultures, climates, and landscapes help rejuvenate and relax her from the hustle and bustle of city life and professional work.

For someone who’s favourite quote is “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page”, she walks the talk and has to-date, ticked off 27 countries on her go-to list. She is eager to explore more countries and learn about their cultures.

Dr. Diana Lim is a firm believer in the Hippocratic oath in which a doctor should first do no harm. Therefore, she always treats her patients in a holistic manner and with integrity to ensure that the treatment they receive is the best and most suitable for them.

Apart from transforming the lives of others with her pair of skillful hands, she has a heart of gold. You can find her going on 4×4 off road trips to remote villages in Malaysia. During these expeditions, she offers assistance in the form of food, clothes, and medicine.

PERSONAL LIFE

Dr. Diana Lim replied to what makes aesthetics so appealing to her:
