DR FOO WING JIANTHE EFFERVESCENT CHARM

Dr Foo Wing Jian is a holder of Letter of Credentialing and Privileging (LCP) conferred by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Medical Director (Hair Department) of Premier Clinic specialising in hair restoration solutions, male aesthetics and sexual health, facial enhancement procedures including (and not limited to) injectable, lifting procedures, and laser treatments. Dr Foo operates mainly in our Mont Kiara branch where he takes care of at least 120 patients per week.

His captivating charm and positive energy quickly gained a lot of attention from our patients, local and international. Having to deal with many hair restoration procedures, he is detail-oriented and result driven. Dr Foo received excellent rate of satisfaction from our patients, keeping them coming back for more.

CREDENTIALS

Dr Foo earned his Bachelor of Medicine from UCSI University, Malaysia. He quickly proved his hardwork and intelligence by graduating with First Degree with Honours and at the top of his class. He then pursued his journey in aesthetic practices by enrolling in Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, United States of America.

His passion in aesthetic led him to proceed with Postgraduate Certificate in Dermatology from Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM). During his course here, he learned a lot about dealing with different types of skin condition and skin diseases. This opened a window of further understanding of human’s dermatological problems and ways to treat it.

Hungry for more, he then pursued his study in Postgraduate Hair Transplant Training in Georgia. This course gave him a kickstart in his astounding career to do hair restoration procedures. Dr Foo has performed countless hair restoration procedures and has special interest in combining FUE Hair Transplant with SMP (scalp micro pigmentation) and Hair Injectibles (such as PRP, peptide, cytokine, exosome, Autologous Skin Micrografting etc.)

Dr Foo is one of the most requested doctors for hair restoration in Malaysia. Dr Foo has been regularly featured in local media such as AiFM radio station, Harper’s Bazaar Magazine Malaysia, Mingguan Wanita Magazine, etc for his opinion and view in hair restoration.

Dr Foo is the KOL, speaker and trainer for the treatment of Regenera Activa (Hair) and Wonder Prestige (Muscle Sculpting) Malaysia. He is actively involved in the training workshops and sharing sessions of these technologies with doctors both locally and globally.

On top of that, he is also one of the chairpersons and speakers of Hair Session of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery Conference (AMSC) 2022.

Dr Foo understands the excitement to be given a new hope for hair restoration and wishes to deliver that for every patient who comes to meet him.

EARLY LIFE

Dr Foo’s journey in aesthetic medicine was actually derived from his experience as a child. Growing up, he did not have the best of experience. He was constantly struggling with his hair balding, body image and bad skin condition. “My confidence was very low to until to the point I avoided looking at myself in the mirror,” said Dr Foo.

Determined to make things better for himself, he went for an ongoing journey of self-transformation. After losing 30kg, having his hair restored with a transplant, his skin started to improve, and he maintained his charming look to remind himself of what aesthetic can do.

Today, Dr Foo inspired to help others to be the best they can be.

“I practise what I preached and I am a walking testimony of how aesthetic medicine can do wonders. Aesthetics Medicine is the best way to restore norm to facial features and body proportions, the key to natural beauty and attractiveness.”

Dr Foo is actively participating in the growth of aesthetic practices in Malaysia. During his free time, Dr Foo enjoys to travel all around the world. He appreciates the beauty of nature and blessed with the experience to see how people around the world live their lives and how this compares to his experiences at home. It opens up his mind to a whole host of possibilities and new ways to approach life.
