DR TARINA SANDARA THE INCIPIENT ARTIST
Our aesthetic doctor, Dr. Tarina Sandara’s area of expertise includes laser treatments like Pico laser and Fractional laser for skin rejuvenation, Vaginal laser Rejuvenation, and Snoring Laser. She is passionate about bridging patient’s desire for beauty with aesthetic medicine.
Her other areas of competence include Botox, Fillers and Thread Lift injectable procedures.
She is one of our visiting physicians at KL City, Puchong, and Bangsar branch clinics, responsible for almost 30 patients a week.
Dr. Tarina has a comprehensive approach to entire body rejuvenation for her patients because she has trained students and worked extensively in face and body aesthetics.
Her patients frequently praise her for being a kind-hearted, amiable doctor with a good demeanour. She is able to produce post-treatment results that look natural by fusing her clinical expertise with an aesthetic style.
CREDENTIALS
Dr. Tarina obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Russian National Research Medical University. She is also a registered member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
After graduating from medical school, she served her 2-year housemanship in Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.
Subsequently, she progressed as a Medical Officer in Hospital Queen Elizabeth for 2 years under the Anaesthetic and Intensive Care Department.
Pain management and ensuring a patient’s safety and comfort are Dr. Tarina’s top priority while being trained as a houseman. Guided by this knowledge, she makes sure that she will guide her patients step-by-step on what can be done realistically before they can make any decision.
Prior to joining Premier Clinic, she had served as a Medical Officer in Hospital Tuaran, Sabah under the Anaesthetic Department and headed the department of operation theatre for 2 years.
Since she joined Premier Clinic, Dr. Tarina has undergone numerous aesthetic training to further hone her skills in treatments like Botulinum A injections, dermal fillers, etc.

Dr. Tarina is a Member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
PERSONAL LIFE
Hailing from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with majestic mountains and scenic islands, it is no wonder that Dr. Tarina loves tuning herself into nature’s offerings. Her favorites include tennis, aerial hammock practice, hiking, and paddle boarding.
Dr. Tarina is also a skincare enthusiast with a keen eye for detail that has blossomed into a special interest in skin health and dermatology.
On a quieter front, Dr Tarina enjoys reading and the movies. A particular novel she repeatedly reads and draws inspiration from is “Every Sunset Brings the Promise of a New Dawn,” written by the famous philosopher/poet Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The romantic drama movie, “Eat. Pray & Love,” starring Julia Roberts, seems to melt her heart each time she rewatches it.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
When asked what makes her fulfilled, Dr. Tarina replied:
“While recognising beauty in every face, I seek to work with my patients to achieve a beautiful and realistic outcome. My goal is to make them feel confident by being happy with their appearance and more comfortable in their own skin.
Being fulfilled means seeing my patient’s face brim with joy stepping out of the door. One of my aspirations is to find a more non-invasive treatment for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
For this reason, she takes great pleasure, pain and pride in her profession.
Dr. Tarina is fluent in both English and Malay.
