Isaac Tan visited us a couple of weeks ago to review some of the aesthetic procedures at Premier Clinic, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.
Dr Kee Yong Seng recommended a few procedures with minimal downtime and discomfort to help him look fresher and rejuvenated.
Dr Kee performed undereye dermal fillers to help reduce the appearance of dark eye circles and eyebags.
LED photo modulation and skin peel were also done on Isaac to help him achieve a healthy glow on his skin.

Aesthetic Beauty Treatment @ Premier Clinic TTDI KL
After my initial foray with aesthetic beauty treatments over at the other clinic, I’m back with another round of face procedures. Read about my previous experiences linked here, and here. This time around I was at the rather new Premier Clinic over at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL. It was my first time there, but with my previous experiences in facial procedures, I was all set to give this a shot.

Premier Clinic is a one-stop aesthetic clinic located strategically in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, providing a comprehensive range of non-surgical aesthetic procedures and advanced laser treatments.
Equipped with modern procedures, technology and expert doctors with specialized knowledge in aesthetics, Premier Clinic provides high-quality aesthetic services to their clients from both local and regional markets.
I was initially apprehensive when I heard of the location in TTDI due to the somewhat hard to find parking space there. It was nice that Premier Clinic provided a car park lot directly in front of the clinic’s entrance. Of course, the lot is on a first come first serve basis. More parking space is available at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail market right behind the clinic.
Arriving at Premier Clinic for my appointment, I was quickly ushered to their VIP waiting room which was pretty nicely decorated and comfy to boot. Fully air-conditioned, with plush sofas and a TV with ample reading materials, I felt immediately at ease.
Consultation with Dr Kee Yong Seng prior to my treatment. The aesthetic doctor from Premier Clinic that attended to me that day was Dr Kee Yong Seng. Dr Kee is a credentialed LCP (Letter of Credentialing & Privileging) Medical Aesthetic Practitioner in Malaysia. His postgraduate qualifications include a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, a Diploma in Primary Care Dermatology from the Institute of Dermatology Bangkok and a Graduate Certificate in Dermatological in Primary Care from the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia. How cool is that? More information on the doctors’ profiles can be found at https://premier-clinic.com/our-doctors.
After a quick consultation with Dr Kee, he took a look at my face and commented I had this really sunken portion below the eyes, a spot they termed as the eyedrop. Also, my facial complexion itself had these tiny tiny bumps and blackheads. He recommended a couple of treatments for me, the Dermafiller for my sunken eyedrop, and the Skinpeel and LED Photomodulation Therapy. Check out each of the treatment pictures as I undergo them that day.
The Dermafiller procedure was pretty simple. At first, they will apply these white numbing creams on the affected area to be injected, to lessen the ‘ant bites’. First off, a bit of information on what derma fillers are about. The ones they put under my eye is to fill in the hollow sunken flesh.
DERMAL FILLER ;
One of the most popular facial rejuvenation treatments that we offer is injectable dermal fillers, also known as hyaluronic acid fillers. It is a highly effective anti-ageing treatment with instant results and virtually no downtime. Enhancing facial features, these dermal fillers produce natural-looking results that leave you feeling younger and rejuvenated.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally produced in the body and helps to create volume beneath facial skin, along with collagen, elastin and fat cells. As we age, our natural reserves of hyaluronic acid break down but dermal fillers can be used to restore the lost volume in the face, to smooth and reduce wrinkles and lines as well as create plumper lips. The effects of just a small touch of additional volume provided by hyaluronic acid fillers can make quite a dramatic difference to your appearance, leaving you feeling fresher and looking younger.
These dermal fillers can be used as a standalone treatment or in combination with other procedures such as Botox injections and laser resurfacing to produce the effects of a non-surgical facelift. This procedure is suitable for all skin types and no allergy testing is required, as hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by your body, therefore rendering it safe to use on any individual.
After injecting the derma fillers, I then proceed to undergo my next treatment, the Skinpeel using the Enerpeel procedure. The objective was to rejuvenate the skin on my face and to get rid of the old skin layer. I was told beforehand that there might be a burning sensation when initially applied. However, I did not experience much discomfort. Check out more info below on Skin peel.
The skin peel Premier Clinic use is called trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and is one of the original skin rejuvenation peels. They are recommended for men and women of all ages wanting to improve moderate to severe sun damage and or signs of ageing. Skin peel is also known as a chemical peel.
Superficial TCA Peels are designed as mild to moderate peels. Their strength and therefore peeling effects can be increased, by layering the applications. The peel depth is dependent on the patient’s skin type, skin condition and desired outcome, though you will see a noticeable improvement after each peel.
Dr Kee wasn’t done with me yet, as I underwent the final part of my treatment, going under some intense LED lights. Aptly named the LED Photomodulation Therapy, it’s supposed to improve healing times, relieve pain, subside active acne, and promote skin rejuvenation and others.
WHAT IS LED LIGHT THERAPY
Light therapy is an effective anti-ageing procedure that will restore your youthful appearance with results that look 100% natural. This powerful technology has been mostly used by physicians, NASA and the NAVY SEALS for muscle regeneration and the healing of wounds. It uses LED technology which is safe and does not damage the skin and is also a non-invasive technique.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Cells in the human body use light and convert it into ATP – this is the fuel that powers life on a cellular level. The light therapy triggers cellular activity which produces ATP which the tissue then uses to carry out healing and rejuvenation in the treated area.
It wasn’t a huge noticeable difference after the first procedure, but I did notice a slight improvement below the eye bags of my eyes. It actually looks fuller, without sinking in. As for now, I’m pretty contented with the results, which hopefully will remain.
