Ellansé is effective for treating lines, wrinkles and folds, nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds), drooping corners of the mouth, sunken cheeks, recessed or hollowed temples, tear trough (under-eye hollows), jowl laxity, thinning skin, ageing hands, and acne scarring.

Wrinkles / Fine Lines

Avoid injection into regions of infections. The injection should be postponed until inflammation or infection was controlled or resolved.

Ellansé is made of polycaprolactone (PCL), which is a medical polymer that has been used safely for many years in medical implants and other devices. The Ellansé treatment comprises of microspheres of PCL suspended in a natural gel carrier (CMC). Developed by AQTIS Medical in Holland from non-animal and non-human sources, Ellansé is totally biocompatible and biodegradable.

However, please note that treatment plans, the results, downtime and recovery following treatment will be unique for each patient. As with any injection, there may be side effects such as localised redness, swelling and bruising, but these are only temporary and will disappear after a while.

Local anaesthetic will be applied prior to the treatment. The normal recovery period is 12-24 hours, but some patients can resume their daily routine almost immediately, with minimal downtime.

Patients are advised to avoid hot bathing and vigorous exercise for 24 hours after the treatment. In addition, avoid over-exposure to the sun and UV light for 1 week after the treatment.

The cost of Ellanse dermal filler is estimated to be around RM 1,200 to RM 4,000 per syringe in the market which can cover from wrinkles problem until saggy and loose skin. Commonly filler provider will use Ellanse dermal filler to provide volume to your facial. However, the price may vary depends on the brands, substances of the filler and also service provided by the provider.
