Carbon Laser Peel Reviewed

Ageing and external environmental factors can cause havoc on our skin. Fret not, as help is at hand with the Carbon Laser Peel procedure, which is for removing the unhealthy and damaged top layers of skin and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. It also helps to stimulate new skin cells in the underlying layers of our skin.

The Carbon Laser Peel process involves a laser beam, usually q-Switch Nd: YAG laser, targeted and focused on the skin which is cleaned and then covered by a layer of carbon. The laser beam which was fired upon is then absorbed by the carbon particles due to the dark colour of carbon. Throughout the entire 10 minutes procedure, skin pores are minimized and become smaller over time. Due to the thermal heating effect of the laser beam,  it stimulates the growth of connective tissue at the same time the carbon particles exfoliate the skin and clean out the pores of our skin.
