This compact but informative talk will feature our Dr Michelle Lai who will deliver a talk on Laser Hair Removal as well as answering any inquiries from audience and perform a live procedure on our volunteers! To open the programme, Dr Michelle Lai will be delivering a talk explaining about the Nd:YAG Laser, its benefits, and case studies on the topic. Nd:YAG laser is treatment using concentrated laser to kill and destroy hair roots (follicle). This deep penetration will destroy any chance of hair to ever grow back. In this talk, you will be able to identify the best solution for your skin, note on the available solutions and understand more about the procedure that will be performed.
Following the talk, there will be a short testimonial session from 3 of our previous patients who had already done their procedures and managed to get rid of their unwanted hair. This will allow you insights on how the procedure is done from a user’s perspective.
After the talk, we will be having 2 live demos on real volunteers for hair removal for different part of the body so you will have the chance to witness first-hand view on how the procedure is done. The patient will be prepped in advance with the numbing cream to save time consumption, but worry not as the usual procedure only takes about 15-20 minutes.
There will be a light refreshment after the live demo. Halal food will be provided so our Muslim participants do not have to worry. You may also take this time to have a 1-to-1 session with the doctor to discuss your unwanted hair problem or have a Q&A session with the volunteers who has done the procedure.
