Laugh Line and Under Eye Fillers

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, which are naturally found in our cells. Hyaluronic acid gives volume to our tissues. As we grow older, the natural hyaluronic acid in our body depletes. So we lose volume in our tissues including on our faces.

Loss of volume causes sagging and the prominence of wrinkles. These make us look old,  tired and haggard.

Blogger Jasmine had a session of hyaluronic acid dermal filler injection for her under eye area. This area, also known as tear trough, develops a hollowness or sunken appearance due to aging. Fillers are used to fill up the sunken areas.

Laugh lines, which are by the corners of our mouth, can also be filled up with dermal fillers.
