Wonder Face – Muscle Toning Treatment

Wonder Face treatment is the latest innovative facial toning and contouring procedure that focuses on addressing signs of aging by targeting facial muscles. Neuromuscular emissions work directly on facial muscles, by contracting the muscles 1500 times to strengthen connective tissues that holds the skin, fat, muscles to the bone and helping to tone them and improve firmness, particularly in challenging areas such as frontal (forehead), zygomatic (cheek) and (platysma muscles/jawline (double chin) – creating a lifting effect without needles. 

Meanwhile, the Radiofrequency (RF) targets the skin by heating the dermis and increasing collagen and elastin fibres in the skin, causing firming, lifting and tightening of the skin. Radiofrequency generates heat of between 42 and 45 degrees Celsius in the deepest layers of the skin (up to 5cm in depth), which promotes the production of collagen and elastin.

Those with facial piercings, cheek implants, forehead implants, facial tattoos, or those who are pregnant / breastfeeding should not get Wonder Face treatment so it is best to get our doctors to access and plan your treatments accordingly.

Patients can expect the treatment to be completely pain-free as the procedure is non-invasive. The treatment feels like a hot stone facial massage so patients may generally feel a mild heat and tingling sensation during the procedure. The skin may show signs of redness, or in some cases, patients also report slight muscle aches on the face, but these should subside after a few hours after the treatment.

For best visible results, Wonder Face treatment sessions of 25 minutes are recommended to be carried out once or twice a week at most for 6-8 sessions, followed by monthly maintenance.
