Sclerotherapy Injection

Sclerotherapy injection is a common treatment used to remove damaged blood vessels, causing them to shrink. It works very well as spider vein treatments or varicose vein treatments, which are the blood vessels that can be seen clearly.

After having sclerotherapy injection, you will be advised to wear a compressor to help blood entering the veins. You are also advised to avoid hot bath, hot compresses, saunas and direct sunlight to ensure effectiveness of the treatment. 

The doctor will provide you with painkillers to help you reduce any discomfort after the treatment.

There are no side effects of sclerotherapy if done by a professional. There will be slight redness and bruises on the injection point, but nothing you should worry about.

There is no downtime for sclerotherapy injection. You may resume your normal activities.
