The combination of these procedures works 3 times faster and better than normal laser. It works by bursting pigmented cells into smaller particles, which then will be absorbed by the body. As the laser penetrates deep into the skin, it also disrupts normal body collagen production. By disrupting, it boosts the collagen production, reducing the effects of scarring, and helps with increasing skin complexion.
After the consultation, we applied numbing cream to Gaylen’s skin to reduce any discomfort during the treatment. After 20 minutes, Gaylen and Dr Foo were ready to start the treatment. The treatment was short, but very thoroughly done. The procedure was not painful. Gaylen described it as a round of short, hot pulses. It took about 30 minutes for Dr Foo to cover all, but it was all worth it.
The laser treatment is FDA approved, so you are assured of the safety. There is no downtime associated with the treatment so you may go on your daily routine as usual. You may expect some redness especially within 48 hours after the treatment, but it will subscede in a couple of days.
