Microdermabrasion refers to the non-invasive treatment which utilises the natural healing properties of the skin and renew the overall skin tones and texture. This treatment can help in improving skin conditions from problems such as sun spots, wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, melisma, age spots, and any other skin-related problems.
HOW DOES MICRODERMABRASION WORKS?
The treatment uses a special instrument with micro needles wheel to penetrate shallowly on your skin, and disrupting your natural collagen production. By doing this, you will be able to rejuvenate your skin from within. It doesn’t require any surgery or anaesthetic for the procedure so you wouldn’t have to worry about the pain.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS GO?
First of all, you are required to set an appointment with our doctor to examine your skin condition whether it is suitable for microdermabrasion or there are other options. During this consultation, doctor will discuss any past aesthetic procedures or allergies, and also your expectation for the treatment.
Next, your face will be cleansed by our staff to reduce any unwanted substances and get rid of contaminations. Any possible threat may expose you to an infection. We’ll be using our Pristine cleanser, a suitable product for all skin type. This all natural cleanser is rich in honey, helping to increase the moisture level of your skin and its texture, transforming it to become smooth to the touch. The treatment cleanses your pores deeply and thoroughly, it can also help in removing make-up and will not cause any skin irritation.
Afterwards, you will be in a session for the microdermabrasion. The session will last for 20 minutes, as the doctor rolls the applicator on your face. You will feel slight uncomfort but it will reduce after the treatment.
To finish off, our Pristine moisturizer will be applied to your face. The Pristine Ultra Sun Protection SPF50++ is very light on your skin, whilst harnessing the power of active UVA/UVB filters. There are also whitening ingredients to delay signs of aging, ensuring your skin looks fresher and younger.
This complete skin solution is just 18 – 20 minutes in total from the cleansing to the postcare. You don’t even have to take off work to do it!
WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF MICRODERMABRASION?
There is no downtime associated with microdermabrasion. Your skin will be slightly pinkish in 24 hours after the procedure but will reduce itself afterwards. However, it is advisable to get microdermabrasion performed by only certified aesthetic doctors or skincare specialists to ensure your safety and hygiene.
You are advised to avoid excessive sun exposure, waxing, and tanning creams for at least a week BEFORE the treatment, and 3 days AFTER the treatment.
