Premier Clinic doctors and staff believe in giving back to society. In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2014, we worked with Sime Darby and Pertiwi NGO organisation to give medical treatment free of charge to the poor, homeles, refugees, drug addicts and sex workers.
On 8 August 2014, we treated about 50 patients at Chow Kit and Kotaraya area in Kuala Lumpur. Most of the patients come with cough and cold, body aches and skin diseases. A number have diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic diseases.
Besides organising the charity clinic, free second hand clothes and delicious Hari Raya food was also distributed to over 600 recipients on that night. Volunteers including our doctors wore Hari Raya and traditional costumes during the event.
