On 6th August 2018, we were visited by a popular blogger, Mrs. Lee Jia Shin. When she heard that we moved to a new location in Bangsar, she was so excited to try the new facility! With the additional space, our clients can enjoy the urban treatment they deserved while waiting for the procedure.
Wanting to try out our new facility was one thing, Mrs. Lee has another task at hand to work on. After her second pregnancy, Mrs. Lee started to notice the lines and wrinkles especially for her neck. This is in fact a very common problem. Due to the natural aging process, our skin will naturally loses its form due to the reducing amount of collagen. As a result from that, wrinkles and folds will form, giving us an appearance of an older self while we were still young at heart. However, worry not as Premier Clinic has a solution to help the anti-aging process. Mrs. Lee was quick to get our help.
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Mrs. Lee met up with Dr. Joycelyn Loh of Premier Clinic who suggested Mrs. Lee to undergo our Ultherapy treatment. This non-invasive, non-surgical has helped many of our customers to have more elastic, fuller and younger necks. The procedure is very safe, and the natural effects can be seen as soon as 2-3 months.
Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to promote and reactivate collagen production in the skin tissue by 3 different layers. This targeted energy would not require any surgery or cause any disruption to the surface of the skin. Focusing the energy on targeted area would trigger a natural response, ordering the body to produce more collagen. As a result, you’ll have a tighter, younger, fairer skin that you deserved!
However, do not mistaken Ultherapy as a traditional facelift procedure. Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy whilst face lift uses surgery method to correct the skin area. Ultherapy takes time to develop its rejuvenating effects as well as Face lift’s effect is immediate. Because of that, Ultherapy does not require downtime as face lift would take longer time to heal.
HOW THE PROCESS WENT?
Firstly, local anesthetic was given to Mrs. Lee to numb the targeted area. This is to reduce any unwanted pain and discomfort. Although Ultherapy is not painful, there is minimal discomfort should the anesthetic was not given. This is because the ultrasound energy penetrates 3 layer of the skill, slightly deeper to the muscle, therefore you can expect to feel a warm sensation during the treatment.
Then, Dr. Joycelyn Loh applied a layer of ultrasound gel onto Mrs. Lee’s skin before starting the procedure. Then using our Ulthera machine, we directed the patented end of the machine to the targeted area. The process would last about 30-40 minutes and the tightening sensation would be felt by the patient here. There were no pain, redness or swelling experienced by Mrs. Lee, and because of there’s no downtime, Mrs. Lee were free to do her daily routine as usual.
The result of the treatment can be seen as early as 2 weeks, but as collagen takes time to be produced, optimum result can be seen in about 2-3 months after the procedure. You’ll have a less-wrinkled neck, tight and younger appearance.
POST-TREATMENT ROUTINE
As this treatment is simply a straightforward procedure, there is no downtime required. You can go on daily routine as usual. There is no insertion nor surgery so do not worry of any high risk associated. Although, we would advise you to treat your skin gently. Especially as this treatment helps with deep tissue rejuvenation, we would not wish any harm unto the aforementioned area. Please avoid applying strong, irritating ingredients for a few days.
