Dr.Chen and Staff participated in Masquerade Walkathon

Dr Chen Tai Ho, together with staffs of Premier Clinic and their family members participated in the 11km run competition and 3km Masquerade walkathon organised by charity organisation Hope Worldwide Malaysia.

Called the Bolathon in conjunction with the World Cup this year, the event on 1 June 2014 attracted over 2000 participants, including our doctor and staffs. After the run, participants were treated to fun quizzes with exciting prizes, performances and lucky draws.

The organisation targets to collect at least RM100,000 in donations and run competition entry fees to fund its various charity programs such as free health clinic, computer and tuition classes for poor school children and food distribution program.

Our aesthetic doctor, Dr Chen Tai Ho, believes is helping the needy. He regularly volunteers his time to attend to patients at Hope Free Clinic, a charity clinic run by Hope International.

Dr Chen attends to about 40 patients per day from underprivileged groups including jobless, homeless and poor fellow Malaysians and refugees. Most patients come for treatment of chronic illnesses including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, malnutrition and cough and cold.

Dr Chen was invited to give a talk on nurses’ leadership image as part of Malaysian Nurses Union annual general meeting on 10 May 2014. The talk was followed by leadership skill building games conducted by Dr Chen for the 250 nurses who attended.
