On 18 August 2014, Dr Chen Tai Ho, Dr Aarthi Maria, Dr Elaine Leng and Dr Toh Lik Wan was invited to attend a workshop held in Ara Damansara. The half day event, organised by Botox producer company Allergan, was attended by a number of aesthetic doctors from all over Malaysia.

The workshop  started with a presention on dermal filler Vycross technology, followed by lectures on how Juvederm dermal filler can be used to correct wrinkles and volume loss over the eyes and laugh line area.

Finally, a demo session on two volunteers was held to highlight the latest methods of Botox and Hyaluronic Acid dermal filler injection.

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances containing hyaluronic acid used to fill up wrinkles such as those under the eyes and laugh lines. It can add volume to areas of volume loss such as the temples and the cheeks. It can also be used to enhance facial features such as the nose, chin or lips.

Botulinum toxin, popularly known as Botox, is used to relax muscle activity, thus reducing wrinkles over the forehead, frown eye and eyes. This treatment takes years off your appearance, making you look more youthful and refreshed.
